Thiruvanaikaval Temple Assistant Commissioner Mariappan has built a 21 feet long and 21 feet wide well-like swimming pool inside the Thiruvanaikaval temple exclusively for bathing the elephant Akila. Inside the temple, all facilities have been made for elephant bathing in the Nachiyar grove area.
Following this, the elephant Akila expresses his happiness by taking an enthusiastic bath in the swimming pool. A shower has already been set up for the elephant. In this situation, the elephant Akila is playing in the standing water which is up to two and a half feet deep in this tank which is 6 feet deep.
The elephant bathing path also has a 12 feet wide ramp. Mandara has already been set up for elephant walking. Currently, the elephant does not come out for festivals such as festivals due to the Govt infection, and walks are also offered on the temple premises

பஞ்ச பூத சிவத் தலங்களில் நீர்த் தலமாக திருச்சி திருவானைக்காவல் ஜம்புகேஸ்வரர் - அகிலாண்டேஸ்வரி கோயில் உள்ளது. வரலாற்று, புராதனச் சிறப்பு பெற்ற இக்கோயிலில் கடந்த 2011ம் ஆண்டு முதல் அகிலா என்கிற பெயருடைய யானை உள்ளது.
தற்போது 19 வயதுடைய யானைக்கு ஏற்கனவே ஷவர் குளியல் எடுக்கும் வசதி செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. ஆலயத்தின் உள்ளே கார்த்திகை கோபுரத்தின் அருகே உள்ள நாச்சியார் தோட்டத்தில் சுமார் ₹ 3.5 லட்சம் மதிப்பீட்டில் 20 அடி நீளம், 20 அடி அகலத்தில், 6 அடி உயரத்திற்கு நீச்சல் குளம் கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது.
