Trichy International airport new terminal started operated from today ( JUNE 11, 2024). Indigo airlines from Trichy to Chennai is the first aircraft to start .
All Domestic & International Flight will now arrive and depart from the new terminal
Facilities in Tiruchirappalli International Airport Terminal.
* The new terminal will be able to handle 45 lakh passengers per year. Passengers from 10 flights can be handled simultaneously.
*12 flights per hour are available for landing. At least 240 flights can land and take off in a day.
*Can handle more than 3500 passengers at a time. There is parking facility for 750 cars, 250 taxis and 10 buses.
*10 gates for departure, 6 gates for arrival, 60 check-in counters, 40 counters each for immigration, 15 x-ray machines, 3 VIP lounges
