Automated Manjappai (Yellow Bag) Vending Machine inaugurated at Trichy Railway Junction. Tamil Nadu government has taken various initiatives to eliminate plastic bags and implement the use of yellow bags.
On behalf of the Pollution Control Board, various awareness programs and rallies are being held among the public about the harm of plastic bags and the elimination of plastic bags.
As an initiative, IndianOil Corporation Limited Managing Director Ashokan and Railway Zonal Manager Anbazhagan inaugurated the automatic yellow bag vending machine at Trichy Railway Junction.
You can easily get yellow bag by paying ten rupee notes or coin in this machine. This initiative has been taken to eliminate plastic bags among the public. The machine is said to be operational 24 hours a day.
