Omni Bus Terminus at Panjapur trichy

 

Trichy Corporation has finished a detailed project report (DPR) for the construction of an exclusive bus terminus for long-distance omnibuses at Panjapur on the Trichy-Madurai national highway. Project cost : Rs 18.7 crore,

The bus stand, which would be placed southeast of the future integrated bus terminal (IBT), was allotted about two acres of land.

While the IBT and truck terminal were envisioned in phase I, the terminus was part of the transport hub's phase II redevelopment activities. At least 100 long-distance buses can be accommodated at once by the omnibus stand's design
