22 automatic ticket vending machines are to be installed at 15 railway stations in Trichy division.
22.42 percent of the total unreserved rail tickets are dispensed through these machines. These machines can be used as self-service. But for those passengers who are not aware of this, automatic ticket vending machine operators will be appointed at the relevant railway stations.
Retired railway employees, ticket checking officer and those who have worked in business division in Trichy division can apply for this.
In Trichy Division Sirkazhi-3, Trichy-6, Boothalur-2, Tanjore-4, Needamangalam-2, Kumbakonam-2, Tiruvarur-1, Nagapattinam-2, Ariyalur-2, Vrudhachalam-2, Tirupathiripuliyur-2, Villupuram-1, Automated Ticket Vending Machine Operators required for Puducherry-1.
The conditions for applicants are posted on the information boards of the respective railway stations. Eligible candidates should submit their applications to the Principal Booking Superintendent or Principal Business Inspector of the concerned Railway Station.
