A book festival will be held from November 24 to December 04 on behalf of Tiruchirappalli District Administration at St. Joseph's College Grounds near Tiruchi Chatram Bus Stand.

Also, book halls, daily seminars and art programs, stage and theater, food court, science center and multi-purpose exhibition hall, government project presentation halls are going to be carried out in St. Joseph's College ground.

Trichy District Collector Pradeep Kumar flagged off the book festival awareness rally at Trichy RC School to bring this book festival to the public and students. The awareness rally started from RC School campus and reached the school via Trichy Railway Junction Bharatiyar Road. Nearby RC School Principal and Headmaster Dennis Gilbert, government officials and more than 500 students attended.
