One of the various schemes implemented by the government to strengthen the structure of the sector is the scheme of setting up a small textile park. In order to hold a consultation regarding this project, the meeting will be held at Trichy collector office at 4.30 pm on Nov 22nd. Also, skill development training is being provided to the textile industry workers under the textile department of Tamil Nadu government.
