Trichy Book Fair and Literary Festival on Sep 16,2022

 Trichy Book Fair and Literary Festival that would be held at St John’s Vestry School in Cantonment for 10 days from September 16,2022  to September 25,2022. 

 The Trichy district administration unveiled the logo for Trichy Book Fair ( image below ) today 12-Aug-2022.

Around Rs 17.50 lakh was sanctioned by the state government for this Trichy Book Fair and its the first  first such event to be sponsored and conducted directly by the district administration. 

Here are the few highlighted points 

• Estimated 200 stalls in the book fair
• 150 leading publishers across the country will participate 
• Motivational speaksers have been invited for the event. 

School children must utilise the opportunity to read career development books, beyond their school education,” district collector M Pradeep Kumar said.

The logo for the book fair was unveiled by ministers K N Nehru and Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi.

“We will promote the event in all the remote hamlets targeting students to encourage the reading habit. Acclaimed speakers and experts will address the visitors on employment opportunities and entrepreneurship skills on all days of the book fair,” the collector added.
